Little Corral Day School

Little Corral Day School is located on Constitution Avenue NE in Albuquerque's Far Northeast Heights, a growing family community with views of the Sandia Mountains. The center serves families in the NE Heights, Tanoan, High Desert, and Tramway areas. Parents value the spacious campus and the quieter pace of this part of the city, while still being close to shopping, parks, and the Sandia foothills trails.

Little Corral is a FOCUS 4-Star Verified center, a distinction from New Mexico's quality rating system that recognizes excellence in early childhood environments, curriculum, and teacher qualifications. This rating means the center meets some of the highest standards in the state for learning outcomes and classroom quality. All classrooms follow the NM FOCUS curriculum framework, verified through regular state evaluations.

Director Clarissa Casas has led Little Corral for five years, transitioning from classroom teaching to center leadership. She holds a Child Development Certificate and is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. Assistant Director Julian Lopez attended Little Corral himself as a child, from ages 3 through 12, before returning as a professional educator.
